21 Journal Prompts To Get To Know Yourself

Hello! Welcome to Feed That Nation!

My name is Natalie Nation. I’m a grad student, future RD, educator, content creator, and mac and cheese expert! I love to talk about college student advice to help college students be more successful, confident, and happy with their student experience.

Today I’m talking about JOURNALING!

My experience with Journaling

I’ve been keeping journals and diaries since I was little, and with everything that’s been going on lately, I’ve been turning more and more to journaling as self-care.

When I was younger, writing in my journal was simple. Here’s what I did today, here’s what I ate, here’s where I went.

Now, I’m trying to dig deeper. Being an adult is tough. Being a grad student is tough. I’ve got all kinds of thoughts and feelings. I’ve been working on getting those words on the page and diving deep into the WHY DID I DO/SAY/THINK THAT? and HOW DID I FEEL?

So I came up with 21 journal prompts to help me get to know myself better and to continue reflecting. Please feel free to use these question in your own journaling and self-reflection. Remember to write about the HOW and the WHY along with the WHAT and WHEN.
