Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated biscuit dough

¼ cup white sugar

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

½ cup brown sugar

6 tablespoons butter, melted

Cooking spray or oil

Instructions

Step 0.5: Preheat your oven to 375F. Spray a loaf pan or other small baking dish with cooking spray.

Step 1: Open the can of biscuits and tear each biscuit into 4-6 pieces.

Step 2: Place your cinnamon and white sugar into a ziploc bag and shake it around to mix the two.

Step 3: Place your biscuit pieces into the ziploc bag and shake around the bag to coat all of them in cinnamon-sugar. You might have to reach in and separate some of the pieces that stick together

Step 4: Place all of your sugar-coated biscuit pieces into your greased loaf pan. The pieces should overlap unevenly.

Step 5: Melt your butter and mix in the brown sugar, creating a paste-like mixture.

Step 6: Pour your butter mixture over your monkey bread. It doesn’t have to be perfect.

Step 7: Bake for 30-35 minutes. Check after 20 minutes, and if it’s starting to get a little too brown, you can loosely cover the top of the pan with aluminum foil for the last few minutes.

Step 8: Let your monkey bread cool for 10 minutes. Loosen the edges with a knife if needed. Invert the monkey bread onto your serving dish. If it doesn’t come out cleanly, that’s okay. It will still taste good. This is best if served warm!
