PIZZA Mac & Cheese
If you’re anything like me, you LOVE mac and cheese. You also probably love pizza. But did you know…you can COMBINE the two? That’s right! This is my Pizza Mac & Cheese recipe, and it is incredible. We start with a boxed mac and cheese, making it even easier for you to whip this up in no time!
My preferred box mac and cheese is Annie’s Shells and White Cheddar, but anything you have on hand will work great!
Ingredients (2-3 servings)
1 box of mac and cheese (+ milk and butter per box instructions)
1 can diced tomatoes
1 onion, diced
2 teaspoons oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon oregano
Choose one of the following:
1 cup cooked diced chicken
1 cup cooked ground beef
1 cup cottage cheese
Prepare mac and cheese per box instructions
Meanwhile, in another pan, saute onion in oil on medium heat until onion is just starting to brown.
Add can of tomatoes and spices to pan with onions and cook for 7-10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add tomato mixture to prepared mac and cheese and stir until combined. Add salt and pepper to taste
Divide pizza mac into 3 servings and top with meat or cottage cheese. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese, if desired.
