3 bananas, ripe and brownish is best

4 tbsp butter (1/2 stick of butter), melted

2 tsp vanilla

1 egg

1 tsp baking soda

Pinch of salt

½ cup sugar

1 and 1/4 cups flour

½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

Step 0.5: Preheat your oven to 350F. Grease your pan. I am using a mini-loaf pan, but a regular loaf pan or a cake pan of some kind will work just as well.

Step 1: Mash your bananas with a whisk or a fork.

Step 2: Mix in your egg, vanilla, salt, and baking soda.

Step 3: Mix in your sugar and melted butter.

Step 4: Mix in your flour and chocolate chips.

Step 5: Pour your batter into your greased pan.

Step 6: Bake until lightly golden. My mini-loaf pan takes about 25 minutes, but a regular loaf pan will take somewhere between 35 to 50 minutes to cook though.

Step 7: Eat this hot, eat it warm, eat it cold…eat this banana bread all the time! This recipe makes 6 little loaves, and I have to try my hardest to give away 3 or 4 of them so that I don’t just eat them all myself.
